Remove the clutch operating cylinder mounting bolts and then remove operating cylinder with cylinder tube very carefully. Do not bump or bend
tube.

Installation is the reverse of the above steps provided the operating cylinder and cylinder tube remain assembled.

Procedure B

1.

Remove the operating cylinder and cylinder tube using steps 1 through 3 of Procedure A.

2.

Install the clutch operating cylinder to the transaxle without the heatshield and cylinder tube attached.

3.

Carefully assemble the cylinder tube to the cylinder but do not tighten the banjo bolt.

4.

Install the two bolts for the cylinder tube bracket so that no force is applied to the cylinder tube.

5.

Tighten the banjo bolt at the clutch operating cylinder.

6.

Remove the two operating cylinder mounting bolts and install the heatshield. The clutch operating cylinder must be supported to avoid bending the
tube during this operation.

7.

Install the flex hose to the flex hose bracket. Avoid bending the clutch tube.
