1988 & Later "Standard" Trucks

These trucks have no right door switch or harness branch. Use the trunk pinswitch and the black trunk wire cut from the VSS harness to
complete the installation as follows:

Remove the fight "B" pillar finisher.

Referring to figure 6 mark and drill a 11/32" hole. Apply Nissan Rust Preventative.

Install the pinswitch and plug the trunk switch wire irito the rear of the switch.

Route the trunk switch wire under the carpet to the left door switch RED/BLACK wire and connect with a RED Scotchlok.

Installing The Control Module.

Refer to figure 7. Position the mounting plate running front to rear, with the front edge 2" from the Crossmember and the side edge 5 3/4" from the door
sill seam. BEING CAREFUL TO MOVE ANY EXISTING WIRES OR CABLES, cut the carpet padding only around the mounting plate. Clean the
floorpan area. Apply the double sided tape to the bottom of the mounting plate.  Insert the large sheet metal screw through the hole and into the plastic
insert in the floor pan.  Press down firmly. Tighten the screw. Attach the control module to the mounting plate using the (4) black phillips head screws.
