Removal and Installation

Direct-Connect SRS Connectors

Direct-connect SRS Component Connectors

The following SRS components use direct-connect style harness connectors.

Driver air bag module

Front LH seat belt pre-tensioner 

-

Front RH seat belt pre-tensioner

Always pull up to release black locking tab prior to removing connector from SRS component.

Always push down to lock black locking tab after installing connector to SRS component.

Removal

CAUTION: Do not attempt to repair or replace damaged direct-connect driver air bag module connectors. If a direct-connect harness connector is

damaged, the harness must be replaced.
Before servicing SRS, turn the ignition switch off, disconnect both battery cables and wait at least 3 minutes.
Always work from the side of driver air bag module.
