Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair

1. Remove flywheel/drive plate.
2. Remove rear oil seal retainer.
3. Remove traces of liquid gasket using scraper.
4. Remove seal from rear oil seal retainer.

NOTE:  Be careful not to scratch rear oil seal retainer.

5. Apply new engine oil to new oil seal and install it using a suitable tool.

NOTE:  Install new oil seal in the direction shown.
