SERVICE INFORMATION

To correct a reverse polarity condition, early production 1987 Sentra vehicles with factory, port and dealer installed air conditioning are equipped with a
sub-harness which is glued to the condenser fan motor harness (Figure 1).
Additionally, early production 1987 Sentra A/C kits (P/N B7000-60A00) within the serial number range shown on page 2/3 of this bulletin also have the
sub-harness glued to the condenser fan harness.

NOTE:

For identification purposes, condenser fan motors with a black harness insulator are equipped with the sub-harness, and condenser fan
motors with a grey harness insulator must not use the sub-harness.

When installing these early production A/C kits with the sub-harness, a tie wrap must be used to secure the sub-harness to the compressor clutch
