Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair

J 38196 Rear Main Seal Installer
Remove or Disconnect
1. Flywheel.
2. Confirm rear seal leak.
3. Insert a flat bladed tool in through the dust lip at an angle as shown in the image. Pry seal out by moving the handle of the tool towards the end of
the crankshaft pilot. Repeat as required around the seal until seal is removed.
CAUTION:
