Cutlass V6-191 3.1L VIN M SFI (1998)
1. Install the. stabilizer shaft bushings (1).
2. Install the clamps.(2) attaching the stabilizer shaft to the crossmember assemblies and hand tighten.
3. Install the crossmember assemblies into position and install the bolts (4, 5, 6, 7). Hand tighten.
4. Tighten the crossmember bolts in the following order:
Tighten
4.1. Tighten the left rear outboard bolt (4) to 110 N.m (71 lb ft), plus a 90 degree rotation.
4.2. Tighten the right rear outboard bolt (6) to 110 N.m (71 lb ft), plus a 90 degree rotation.
4.3. Tighten the front upper bolts (5) to 110 N.m (71 lb ft), plus a 90 degree rotation.
4.4. Tighten the right rear inboard bolts (7) to 110 N.m (71 lb ft), plus a 90 degree rotation.
