SUBJECT:
405 POWER DOOR LOCKS - OVERRIDING THE TRUNK LID VALET PARKING FEATURE
THIS BULLETIN SUPERCEDES BULLETIN NO. 309
All 405 vehicles are equipped with a trunk lock which can only be opened by using the trunk and glove box key.
By giving the parking attendant the ignition key only, the security and privacy of personal belongings in the trunk are ensured (and the glove box also, if
locked).
With the addition of a toggle switch, the customer will have the added convenience of the trunk lid unlocking with the central locking system (doors and
the gas filler flap), without losing the valet parking feature.

(1)
Double pole toggle switch - Radio Shack Catalog No. 275--666 (or equivalent)
(1)
Female Terminal for Connector - P/N 6541.22
