Dashboard / Instrument Panel: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable and remove steering wheel.

Carefully pry off three plugs using a small screwdriver and remove bolts (8). Fig. 1.

Remove instrument cluster visor, radio and two front screws (9) on forward section of center console. Fig. 2.

Loosen screws (10) and remove steering column covers.

Remove RH and LH side panels, then the center console storage compartment (11). Fig. 3.

6.

Remove ashtray, then the screws (12, 13 and 14). Fig. 3.

7.

Remove windshield wiper switch without disconnecting.

8.

Disconnect dash panel electrical connectors.

Remove instrument cluster filler strip (15) and screws (16). Fig. 4.
