Tilt instrument cluster forward and disconnect electrical connectors.

Disconnect speedometer and lift instrument cluster clear of dash panel.

Remove screws (17 and 19) and hood release bolts (20). Fig. 5. Loosen driver's underdash panel screw (18) 1/4 turn.

Disconnect fuse panel connectors (A and B) and relays below steering column. Fig. 6.

Disconnect both side dash harness connectors and ground connector located on RH kickpanel.

Remove dash panel reinforcement bolt (2), Fig. 7, and bolts securing plenum chamber to dash panel.

Remove dash panel mounting bolts (4, 5 and 6). Fig. 8.

17.

Remove strut (7) secured at (8) to lower dash panel and at (9) to gear shift support. Fig. 8.
