Throttle Switch Terminal Connections

3.

Connect and ohmmeter between pin 2 and pin 18 of the throttle switch.  The ohmmeter should read < 1 ohm.

4.

Tighten the throttle switch mounting screws.

5.

Depress the accelerator.  The ohmmeter should read (infinity).

Remove the ohmmeter leads and reinstall them between pin 3 and pin 18.  With the throttle plate closed the switch should read (infinity).

7.

Depress the accelerator fully.  The ohmmeter should read < 1 ohm.

8.

Reinstall the throttle switch connector.

9.

If the correct ohmmeter readings are not obtained the throttle switch is defective.
