Air Door Position Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection

After removing glove compartment & righthand cowl panel, set control to low blower Bi-Level position when locking blend air door in full or
minimum heat position. To position blend air door in full heat position, disconnect in-car sensor, then turn system on. To position blend air door in the
minimum heat position, connect a jumper wire between point E of red wiring harness connector and point B of harness ground connection then turn
system on. To position blend air door between minimum and full heat positions, disconnect battery ground cable, disconnect S.A.T.C. harness and
blower motor ground connections, then connect blower motor ground connection. Connect a jumper wire between S.A.T.C. ground wire and a good
body ground, then reconnect battery ground cable and move temperature control lever to bring blend air door to the desired position. When blend air
door has reached the desired position, disconnect jumper wire connecting S.A.T.C. ground wire to body ground.
Do not apply power to system with blower motor ground wire disconnected.
