17. Remove the nut and washer mounting the knuckle to the stud of the lower ball joint.
18. Remove the lower ball joint from the knuckle. The stud is removed from the knuckle using Remover, Special Tool 8183, or equivalent and the
following procedure. Bolt special tool 8183, or equivalent on the rear of the knuckle. Special Tool 8183, or equivalent is bolted to the knuckle
through the hub/bearing to knuckle bolt holes using the bolts that are supplied with Special Tool 8183, or equivalent. Tighten the bolt on Special
Tool 8183, or equivalent against the stud of the lower ball joint until the stud is pressed out of the knuckle.
19. Remove the 2 bolts attaching the lateral links to the knuckle.
