Stabilizer Bushing: Service and Repair

REMOVE 

1. Remove the stabilizer bar from the vehicle.
2. Inspect stabilizer bar bushings to determined if the bushings require replacement.
3. If new stabilizer bar bushings are required, remove the old bushings by opening the slit in the bushing and peeling the bushing off the stabilizer bar

.

INSTALL 

1. Thoroughly clean the stabilizer bar in the area where the bushing contacts the stabilizer bar.
2. Install new bushings on stabilizer bar by opening slit and wrapping bushing around stabilizer bar
3. Position the stabilizer bar bushings so they are against the retainer rings on the stabilizer bar.
4. Install the stabilizer bar on the vehicle.
