Stabilizer Bushing: Service and Repair
Rear

REMOVE 

1. Remove the stabilizer bar from the vehicle.
2. Remove the bushing retainers from the stabilizer bar bushings.
3. Remove and inspect and the stabilizer bar bushings to determined if the bushings require replacement.

INSTALL 

1. Thoroughly clean the stabilizer bar in the area where the bushing contacts the stabilizer bar.
2. Install new bushings on stabilizer bar. Bushings are installed by opening the split in the bushing and wrapping the bushing around the stabilizer bar
3. Correctly position the stabilizer bar bushings on the stabilizer bar. The split in the bushing must be facing upward when installed on the stabilizer

bar.

4. Install the bushing retainers on the bushings.
5. Install the stabilizer bar on the vehicle.
