7. Remove the bolts (1) retaining the right and left folding top stowage compartment closeout panel link upper brackets (2) to the stowage
compartment panel link assembly.
8. Remove the rear compartment front trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Front Trim Panel Replacement (Convertible) (See: Interior Moulding
/ Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair).
Note: Mark the rear corner position of the folding top stowage compartment closeout panel link assembly to the right and left side rail links
before removing the underside fasteners.
9. Remove the cable ties that secure the hydraulic hoses to the closeout panel link assembly.
10. From the rear compartment, remove the 4 underside bolts (1) which retain the stowage compartment closeout panel link assembly to the right and
left side rail links.
11. Remove the stowage compartment closeout panel link assembly from the vehicle.
12. Remove the hinges with the link arms and front compartment panel side links with the cables and outer compartment panels and transfer to the new
part.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the hinges with the link arms and front compartment panel side links with the cables and outer compartment panels.
Note: When position the closeout panel link ensure that front edge is flush with the main pivot brackets.
2. Position the stowage compartment closeout panel link assembly to the vehicle, noting the previously marked position to the side rail links.
