5. Disconnect the brake pipe (1) from the BPMV (2).
Important: Install a rubber cap or plug to the BPMV (2) in order to prevent fluid loss and contamination.
6. Plug the BPMV (2).

Caution: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution (See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service Precautions) .
7. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair) .
8. Remove the engine. Refer to Engine Replacement (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Engine Replacement) for 3.6L orEngine Replacement (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Engine Replacement) for 6.0L .
9. Remove the sound proofing trim from the bulkhead.
