7. Install the right (rear) exhaust manifold upper heat shield.
8. Install the right (rear) exhaust manifold upper heat shield bolts.

Tighten the right (rear) exhaust manifold upper heat shield bolts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
9. Install the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) tube to the rear exhaust manifold. Refer to EGR Valve Replacement in Powertrain Management.
10. Connect the three-way catalytic converter pipe to the right (rear) exhaust manifold. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement in Powertrain
Management.
11. Lower the vehicle.
12. Connect the H02S wiring harness connector.
13. Install the exhaust crossover pipe bolts to the right (rear) exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Crossover Replacement.
14. Install the exhaust crossover pipe heat shield. Refer to Exhaust Crossover Replacement.
15. Install the thermostat bypass pipe. Refer to Thermostat Bypass Pipes Replacement in Thermostat, Cooling System.
16. Install the automatic transaxle vacuum modulator pipe. Refer to Vacuum Modulator Pipe Replacement in Automatic Transmission/Transaxle.
17. Connect the radiator inlet hose at the engine. Refer to Radiator Hose Replacement - Inlet in Cooling System.
18. Fill the cooling system with engine coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Cooling System.
19. Install the throttle body air inlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Powertrain Management.
20. Connect the battery ground (negative) cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Starting and Charging.
