Seat Belt Guide Track: Service and Repair
1.
With belt locked at B-pillar, disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove shoulder belt from carrier.
3.
On hatchback models, remove upper quarter trim panel.
4.
On all models, remove guide rail trim panel.
5.
Remove upper and lower bolts retaining lock mechanism.
6.
Remove warning lamp switch from lock mechanism, then remove lock mechanism.
7.
Loosen five retaining screws and remove guide rail.
8.
Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque mechanism to guide rail bolts to 26 ft. lbs.
