Child Seat Tether Attachment: Service and Repair
Child Restraint Tether Anchor Replacement (Lower)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Fold down rear seat back half way to access lower tether anchor bolts (1).
2. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

-

The bolts (1)

-

The child seat lower tether anchor brackets (2)

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the child seat lower tether anchor brackets (2) to the vehicle. Secure the brackets with the bolts (1).

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the child seat lower tether anchor bracket bolts to 18.1 N.m (13.3 lb ft).

2. Lift up rear seat back to its upright position.
