Only for 911 Carrera 4 with amplifier:

Remove screw -> Figure 3 -A- and nut -> Figure 3 -B- and pull combination holder for amplifier/navigation unit out of the body and lay it to
one side.

ATTENTION

Risk of damage to components!

Risk of damage to dryer (fluid tank) due to drilling work on the grommet.

-> Protect dryer (fluid tank) using a wooden support.

-> Use a bit stop while drilling.

Install GPS antenna. -> Workshop Manual '911319 Removing and installing GPS antenna.

Insert speed nut (999.507.441.02) in cowl panel cover.

Position GPS antenna and secure with a tapping screw (999.073.210.00).

Only for vehicles with a telephone:

Fit radio antenna (telephone) on cowl panel cover. -> Workshop Manual '914719 Removing and installing radio antenna section on "Installing".

Prepare trim panel for luggage compartment pan.

Loosen trim panel for luggage compartment pan.

4.2

Only for 911 Carrera 4:

Transfer dimensions for the position of the mounting for the navigation unit retaining frame to the trim panel for the luggage compartment
pan.

Dimensions:

V = 135 mm

X = 145 mm
