Cut out section in luggage compartment pan for navigation unit retaining frame in accordance with dimensions.

Check cutout in the trim panel for the luggage compartment pan for mounting the navigation unit retaining frame and rework it if necessary.

Route GPS antenna cable.

5.1

Open the locking mechanism for the plug socket and remove plug socket from the GPS antenna cable.

Only for vehicles with carbon canister:

Loosen carbon canister. -> Workshop Manual '202519 Removing and installing carbon canister'

5.3

Only for 911 Carrera 2:

5.3.1 Loosen trim panel for luggage compartment pan away from the front panel.

5.3.2 Punch rubber grommet. -> Figure 7 -A- from the front panel.

5.3.3 Route and secure GPS antenna line -> Figure 7 -H- as follows:

Navigation unit installation position -> through rubber grommet -> along wire harness -> right plenum panel.

5.4

Only for 911 Carrera 4:

5.4.1 Remove small rubber grommet from front panel -> Figure B -A-, punch it and guide GPS antenna cable through.
