All Porsches with 17" Porsche Road Wheels

Concern:

Special work procedure for mounting 17" tires on Porsche wheels with asymmetric hump to prevent possible tire damage from mounting or dismounting.

Work Procedure:

When removing and installing 17" tires on 17" wheels with asymmetric hump, observe the following instructions:

1. Removing a tire:

To press the tire off the wheel, start at the valve since the pressing force required is lower in this area. Then continue to press the tire off on both
sides while applying tire assembly lubricant (Do Not use silicone) to the rim flange.
