Lift the first side of the tire over the assembly head (Figure 2), placing a shop rag or a piece of leather between the wheel and tire iron to avoid
damage and to facilitate assembly. NOTE: Flatten and round off the face end of the tire iron. Also, make sure the tire is held down in the drop
center (Figure 3)

opposite the assembly head using special tool 9539
(Figure 4) or suitable equivalent tool.

Remove the second side of the tire in the usual manner.

2. Fitting a tire:

Coat the inside of the wheel as well as both tire beads with tire assembly lubricant. (Do Not use silicone.) Before fitting the tire, always replace
the tire valve.

Fit the first bead in the usual manner.

When starting to fit the second bead, the assembly head should be opposite the tire valve. Then position the second tire bead as flatly as possible
on the wheel, pull over assembly head and hold tire down with special tool 9539 (or suitable equivalent tool) approximately 90~ to 120~ behind
this position (Figure 5).
