Cause: 
Leather overlaps (double layer) on the corners and edges on the rear side of the trims (see arrow a in figure 10).

Repair: 
Peel back the leather where it overlaps. Trim the leather back so it won't touch. After trimming back the leather, reglue it back to the panel.

Complaint 6: 
Creaking noises at the rear roof lining panel (panel E in figure 1).

Cause: 
Roof lining is rubbing laterally on the rear side section trims. Clamping effect of the fastening clips too low, possibly old style clip installed.

Repair:

 
1.

Stick felt strips approx. 1 mm from the edge a (item a in figure 11) on the side areas of the roof lining. If there are felt strips that are already
installed, check to see if they are positioned correctly. Replace them if necessary.

2.

Stick felt strips on the locating peg (item b in figure 11) and the holding peg (item a in figure 11).
