Install new version fastening clips, 999 507 558 02, figure 12.

Complaint 7: 
Rattling noises at the seat belt height adjuster in the area of the B-pillar (up to and including model year '99).

Cause: 
The contacting points of the seatbelt height adjuster are rattling inside the B-pillar trim.

Repair: 
Apply felt strips at the points indicated by the arrows in figure 13

Complaint 8: 
Coupe only. Rattling and/or creaking noises at the roof lining (Fh) at the rear.

Cause: 
Support ribs of the roof lining at the rear (Fh) are in contact with the inside of the roof.

Repair: 
Cover the side support ribs (arrow a in figures 14 and 15) with felt strips. Cover the retaining stays (arrow b in figures 14 and 15) at the top and bottom
with felt strips. Check the standard foam strip (arrow c in figures 14 and 15) for correct seating and damage. The foam strip must not be damaged at the
