Slide the locking sleeve of the adjuster (1) forward and turn it clockwise to removal position.

Press the retaining clip (2) together and carefully pull the cable upward out of the support bracket.
5. Remove parking brake console.
6. Remove underbody panel (middle and rear).
7. Lever off cable on transmission lever using a commercially available removal tool.
8. Disengage cable at support bracket.
9. Remove cross member.
