Remove long gearshift lever (standard version).
DANGER
Risk of accidents (eye injuries) while removing the gearshift lever.

Wear protective goggles when knocking off the pins at the bushings (plastic)!
2.1
Knock off pins --> Figure 6 -A- the bushings (plastic) with a chisel.
2.2
Remove bushings from the gearshift bracket --> Figure 6 -Arrows-.
2.3
Guide gearshift lever --> Figure 6 -B- upwards out of the gearshift bracket.
3.
Install short gearshift lever
3.1
Lightly lubricate pin and ball pin on the new gearshift lever using approx. 3 g of lubricant.
3.2
Guide gearshift lever into the gearshift bracket --> Figure 7 -A-.
3.3
Position new bushing on gearshift bracket in such a way that the two pins stand vertically at the base of the bushing --> Figure 7 -D- and one
groove in the bushing is aligned with the bar --> Figure 7 -A, Arrow- in the gearshift bracket.
3.4
Carefully press the bushing into the gearshift bracket using a vice --> Figure 7- B-. When doing this, ensure that the gearshift lever pin is in
the position in the bushing and the base of the bushing is flush with the --> Figure 7 -D- gearshift bracket.
3.5
Press the second bushing into the gearshift bracket in the same way --> 7 -B-.
3.6
Check that the new gearshift lever moves smoothly in the bushing.
4.
Concluding work:
4.1
Install gearshift bracket.
4.1.1 Insert the gearshift bracken and tighten nuts --> Figure 8 -A-.
Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft-lb.)
