Camshaft: Adjustments
Models With Multiple Hole / Two Piece Camshaft Sprockets
Approximate Adjustment
1. Rotate crankshaft on pulley until the mark on the pulley lines up exactly with the crankcase seam or the line mark on the fan housing.
2. Remove pulley. Undo hexagon head bolt, having a helper lock the pulley with Special Tool 9548 (retaining wrench).
3. Remove cover of intermediate shaft access hole.
4. Place Special Tool 9553 (locking tool) into position.
