1. Push and engage the relay carrier into its retaining frame.

2. Push motor for convertible top compartment lid together with potentiometer onto the bracket and screw tight with the fastening nuts -1-.

Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

3. Plug in the electric plug connection for potentiometer -2- at control unit until the connector is felt to engage.
4. Plug in the electric plug connection for microswitch -5- and engage on the bracket.

Subsequent work

Subsequent work for relay carrier of Cabriolet

1. Reinstall carpet over motor.
2. Move convertible top from service position.
