terminals B and C of test jack must be bridged together. This simulates full throttle on control unit and stops operation of idle regulator.

distributor rotor correctly installed in relation to mark on distributor housing

Note

Idle speed ignition timing can only be checked with VAG 1367 tester. This requires bridging terminals B and C of test jack to stop operation of idle
regulator.

Idle speed ignition timing specification = 3 +/- 3~ ATDC @ 800 +/- 40 RPM
