5. Remove CV boot retainer clips (4 and 6).
6. Remove CV joint (3) and boot (7).
7. Carefully drive off the inner cap (5) with a brass punch.
8. Repeat this procedure for the remaining CV joint.
INSTALLATION:
1. Before installing, thoroughly clean each CV joint and inspect the boots, replacing if torn or weather checked.
NOTE: If any scoring or discoloration is found on the CV joint rebuilding or replacement is recommended.
2. Slide the CV boots and the inner caps onto the axle shaft.
3. Press the CV joints onto the axle shaft.

4. Install the circlips.
5. Pack the CV joints evenly on each side with approx. 40 grams of special grease. A packet of approx. 90 grams is included with each replacement
boot.
6. Slide the CV boots into position on the inner caps and install the retainer clips.

7. Coat the sealing surfaces of the closing caps and inner caps with the special sealant contained in the repair kit.
