Removal

Removing oil pan (lower part)

Risk of damage to units or components

Protect components from dirt and contamination.

-

Clean or replace dirty components.

1. Remove lower part of oil pan.
1.1.

Unscrew 23 inner Torx(R) screws (T30) M6 x 25.

2. Remove the oil pan.
2.1.

Check molded seal and replace it if necessary. Replace O-rings on the sprue cones.

3. Clean and degrease sealing faces (using solvent naphtha or metal cleaner for example). Allow parts to dry off well.

Clean or replace dirty components.

1. Remove joint flange for oil regulating valve.
1.1.

Pull off cable plug.

1.2.

Unscrew two outer Torx(R) screws (E10) M6 x 20.

1.3.

Replace O-ring.
