Replacement chain tensioner part number 930 105 053 00.
Information:
From January 1st 2000 to May 1st 2001 some chain tensioners, supplied as a spare part, may have been delivered with the compression spring and the
piston installed in the incorrect order (see Figure 1).
Prior to installation of a new chain tensioner a visual inspection should be done to check for the correct installed position of the compression spring
(Figure 1, Item 4) and piston (Figure 1, Item 5).
Chain tensioners delivered after May 1st 2001 have been tested and found in working order.

Installation of chain tensioners that have been assembled incorrectly may lead to engine damage during driving.

Before installing new chain tensioners, check weather the compression spring (Figure 1 Item 4) and the piston (Figure 1 Item 5) are installed in the
correct order.
