Temperature - first occurrence:

The value indicates the temperature (temperature sensor in the gateway) at the time the fault occurred. The
temperature of the fibre optic transmitter is monitored: max 85 °C.

Speed - first occurrence:

The value indicates the vehicle speed at the time the fault occurred

Supply voltage - first occurrence:

The value indicates the voltage at the time the fault occurred.

Hour meter - first occurrence:

The value indicates the operating hours at the time the fault first occurred.

Last occurrence (month, day)

:The date (month and day) on which the fault was last detected is displayed.

Temperature -last occurrence:

The value indicates the temperature (temperature sensor in the gateway) at the time the fault was last detected.
The temperature of the fibre optic transmitter (FOT) is monitored: max. 85 °C.

Supply voltage -last occurrence

The value indicates the voltage at the time the fault last occurred.

Hour meter-last occurrence

The value indicates the operating hours at the time the fault was last detected.

Different required and actual installed components lists

When the 'automatic control module search' is complete, an asterisk ('* ') appears in front of the control module description 'PCM2' in the 'Control units'
menu, as well as in the 'PCM2 MMI function selection' in front of the entry 'MOST required installed components list' if the 9588 Porsche System Tester
II establishes a difference between the required and actual installed components list and there is no fault code in one of the fault memories of the MOST
control modules.

If there is a fault code present in one of the MOST control modules, the display' *' is only shown in the 'PCM2 MMI function selection' in front of the
line 'MOST required installed components list'.

If an asterisk is displayed in the Control units menu, an existing fault code has priority and a '#' is set.

Fault code setting conditions

Fault codes can be set in several circumstances, e.g.:

-

When disconnecting battery.

-

Plug connections disconnected.

-

Power failure.

In these circumstances, no fault is present in the system and the fault memory must be erased.

Fault memory Info key [F8]

In order to be able to assess the fault exactly, the fault memory Info key [F8] must be pressed. This information should be saved using the Save key [F4]
and printed out. If a fault code is stored with "not present" status and no other problems are present, then the fault memory must be erased.

Fault type - Frequency counter/Temperature/Voltage; Speed/Time of occurrence.
