Removal

1. Turn shop-made extractor into centre of piercing point of closure cap and pull off the cap. 

Installation

1. Clean the camshaft bore.
2. Fit new cap dry and press in by hand as far as it will go.

Removal

1. Turn shop-made extractor into centre of piercing point of closure cap and pull off the cap. Remove the upper closure cap; to do so, first undo the

tailpipe fastening clamp and twist the tailpipe downward. Pull off the closure cap.

Installation

1. Clean the camshaft bore.
2. Fit new cap dry and press in by hand as far as it will go.
3. Align tailpipe and tightening fastening clamp.

Removal

1. Turn shop-made extractor into centre of piercing point of closure cap and pull off the cap.
