Removing and Installing ATF Filter (As of MY 2002)

Removing ATF Filter

Removing ATF filter 

1. Remove underbody panels, rear and centre.

2. Remove cross member.
3. Disengage cable on the retaining clips of the ATF pan.
4. Place oil collection pan under the transmission.

5. Unscrew drain screw -A- and drain ATF.

Note!

Without ATF, the engine must not be started and the vehicle must not be towed.

6. Remove ATF pan (loosen screws crosswise).

7. Remove ATF filter.
