Removal
1. Remove right rear wheel.
2. Drain rear-axle oil.
Note!

Suction removal of the oil prevents rear-axle oil entering the ATF.
^
This would cause malfunctions of the hydraulic transmission control system.
3. Uncouple right drive shaft on the transmission side.
