3. Release plug connection for the sunroof motor -A-, pull off plug -3- and take out the motor.

INFORMATION:

Pull out ignition key.

Before installing the electric motor again, visually check the drive shafts for damage.

If the drive shafts have been severely damaged as a result of metallic abrasion, the drive shafts must be replaced as described below. >> Refer to
Disassembling and assembling frame for sunroof cover.

If both motors have to be removed and installed, then the position of the holders must be checked and, if necessary, the holders must be adjusted in
accordance with the description: Refer to Adjusting holder unit (drive mechanism).

1. Guide motor for sunroof -4- behind the bracket -5- from below and slide the gear wheel for the motor between the two drive shafts.

2. Secure the sunroof motor using the two fastening screws -2-. Tightening torque: 5.5 Nm (4.0 ftlb.)
