Installing sealing ring for front halfshaft flange

3. Install halfshaft flange.
3.1.

Replace circlip -A- for the halfshaft flange. To do this, clamp the halfshaft flange in the vice with a hexagon-head bolt -B- and press the circlip
out with the new circlip -A-.

3.2.

Grease circlip -A- for easier fitting.

3.3.

Tap the halfshaft flange -arrow- into the final drive using a rubber hammer.

Subsequent work

1. Install front drive shaft.
2. Check oil for front final drive and top up if necessary.
3. Install front underbody panelling.
4. Lower the vehicle.
