7.2 Release secondary lock --> Figure 24 -A- on 8-pin connector.

7.3 Join RD 0.5(2) line (retrofit kit) to RD/GN 2.5(2) line (term. 30, chamber 4).

7.3.1 Press socket contact of RD/GN 2.5(2) line out of the 8-pin connector (chamber 4) using press - out tool 88044 --> Figure 25 -A- (-->

Figure 25 -arrow-).

7.3.2 Cut socket contact. Strip the lines.

7.3.3 Join RD 0.5(2) line (retrofit kit) and RD/GN 2.5(2) line and crimp together with a new socket contact.

NOTE:

Ensure socket contact is seated securely.

7.3.4 Insert socket contact into chamber 4 of the 8-pin connector.

7.4 Connect BN 0.5(2) line (retrofit kit) to BN 2.5(2) line (term, 31; chamber 8) and WH 0.5(2) line (retrofit kit) to WH 0.5(2) line (antenna

output terminal, chamber 5) as described in Step 7.2.

7.5 Lock secondary lock on 8-pin connector.

7.6 Open line bracket --> Figure 26 -C-.

Place the antenna line --> Figure 26 -A- and the wire harness (retrofit kit) --> Figure 26 -B- in the line bracket.

Close the line bracket.
