HomeLink Garage Door Opener Does Not Function

Concerns:

Information:
The customer cannot teach the HomeLink garage door opener in the vehicle to operate with the original remote control for the garage door system, or the
customer has managed to teach the HomeLink garage door opener to operate with the original remote control for the garage door system, but it does not
function correctly.

An insufficient battery boltage in the remote control for the garage door system results in signal transmission errors when the remote control is used:
-The HomeLink system learns an incorrect code, which the customer's garage door system does not recognize or
-The LED in the vehicle confirms that the HomeLink system has been taught to operate with the remote control for the garage door system, but the
HomeLink does not function or only works sporadically.

Action Required:
If the customer cannot teach the HomeLink in the vehicle to operate correctly with the original remote control for the garage door system, check that the
battery in the remote control for the garage door system is new.
If in doubt, the battery in the remote control for the garage door system must be replaced.

Try again to teach the HomeLink system in the vehicle to operate with the original remote control for the garage door system.

function correctly.
