1. Unscrew fastening nuts -1- and remove rear retaining strip -2-. Check fastening nuts -3- and replace them if necessary.

Installing rear retaining strip

1. Position rear retaining strip -2- with fastening nuts fitted -3- and secure with the fastening nuts -1-. Tightening torque: 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

2. Check adjustment dimensions of rear retaining strip and correct if necessary. Refer to Removing and installing rear retaining strip.

To reduce adjustment work to a minimum when fitting the rear apron, the rear bumper and rear retaining strip must be aligned with the lower edge
of the rear lid according to the dimensions shown.
