1.1. End hood service position. Refer to Hood service position
1.2. Check contours with respect to the side panels, the hood and the rear lid. Refer to Diagram - body gap dimensions
1.3. Move hood to service position.
1.4. Loosen fastening nuts on hood compartment lid.
1.5. Move the hood compartment lid at the hinges to adjust the contours, adjust the hinges if necessary. Refer to Adjusting hinge for hood

compartment lid.

1.6. Screw down fastening nuts on hood compartment lid. Tightening torque: 9.7 Nm (7 ftlb.)
1.7. End hood service position and check contours.
