Preliminary work
1. Remove accessories close to the sound absorber (insulation).
INFORMATION: The sound absorbers (insulation) must always be replaced if they are damaged or cracked.
2. Remove sound absorber (insulation).
3. Remove all adhesive residue on the body/accessories and clean with cleaning solution.
Installing sound absorber (insulation) for wheel housing
Installing insulation for rear wheel housing
INFORMATION: The fastening points must remain accessible when positioning the sound absorbers (insulation).
1. Pull off protective film and stick on insulation for rear wheel housing -1- in the marked area.
2. Heat up insulation for rear wheel housing -1- using a Leister Elektron hot-air gun and press on securely using a rubber roller.
