Always fit crankshaft sealing ring dry and without grease.
Information
Work on delicate engine parts must be carried out conscientiously and precisely. Use a suitable tray. Absolute cleanliness is essential.
1. Remove sealing ring.
1.1.
Fit a 2-mm drill bit in a battery-powered screwdriver or small drill. Grease drill bit so that any chips produced will stick.
1.2.
Drill a hole at the front of the sealing ring.

Impact puller Nr.168-1 -1- with the screw tip must then be screwed into the bore hole and the sealing ring -2- can be pulled out carefully.
