Fitting crankshaft pulley sealing ring

3.

Install pulley with a new screw.

3.1.

Fit pulley on the crankshaft flange. Check the position of the dowel pin.

3.2.

Counter at the pulley with special tool holding wrench 9548 (steel pulley) or retaining device 9732/1 (aluminium pulley) and tighten the screw
using a torque wrench.

Tightening torque: 170 Nm (126 ftlb.)

Tightening torque: 250 Nm (185 ftlb.)

Tightening torque: 170 Nm (126 ftlb.)

Subsequent work

Subsequent work for 997 Turbo/GT2

1. Install rear silencer.
2. Install rear apron.
3. Install air cleaner housing.
4. Install pressure pipe.
