4. Unscrew M8 fastening nuts -Arrows-.
5. Get another person to help support the rear silencer.

6. Unscrew hexagon-head bolts (M8 x 50) -Arrows- on the restraining straps.

7. Slide restraining straps down off the holders -Arrow-.
8. Remove rear silencer with the help of an assistant. Remove the cover plates -2- along with the rear silencer.

Installing rear silencer

1. Position new seals on turbocharger flange.
2. Position rear silencer and cover plates.
3. Route oxygen sensor lines provisionally.
4. Position restraining straps.
