Support (holder) on the pressure line

On the 911 Turbo and 911 GT3, the support at the plug-in coupling between the pressure line (pressure hose) -6- and pressure line -5- was changed.
Instead of a retainer plate -7- (variant 1), a holder -1- with a spring band clamp -4- (variant 2) is installed. This change was introduced on 26 June
2007. On the 911 GT2, this holder -1- with the spring band clamp -4- has been used since the production launch.

If the plug-in coupling with the retainer plate -7- (variant 1/up to 26.06.2007) is opened, it can only be re-installed with the new holder -1- (variant 2)!
The screw (with internal Torx screw T40) -2- must also be used.

Before opening the variant 1 plug-in coupling (with retainer plate -7-), check the axial play at the plug-in coupling! If there is more than 3.5 mm of
axial play, the pressure line at the body -6- and the pressure line at the engine -5- must be replaced!

There is no need to check the axial play on variant 2 with the holder -1- (installed as standard since 26.06.2007)! There is also no need to replace the
pressure lines -5 and 6-.

These instructions are only relevant if the connection point (between the plug-in coupling and pressure line) on variant 1 (support with retainer plate
-7-) is opened.
