3.5.2. Release exhaust temperature sensor control unit -1- by compressing the retaining lugs -2- and pull it upwards in the direction of the

-arrow-, then remove it. Remove exhaust temperature sensor control unit with the lines.

Installing exhaust temperature sensor

INFORMATION:

The thread of the exhaust temperature sensor can be screwed in again a maximum of five times.

Use the Porsche high-temperature grease (part number 000.043.207.07) to grease the thread.

1. Fit exhaust temperature sensors in the engine compartment.

1.1. Install exhaust temperature sensor control unit.

1.1.1. Insert exhaust temperature sensor control unit, then latch retaining lugs into the cut-out -2-.

1.1.2. Connect cable plug -2, 3, 4-, insert cable plug -2, 3- into bracket -1-.

1.2. Lay exhaust temperature sensor line on -2- left side at the left engine carrier and clip it in.
1.3. Clip exhaust temperature sensor line on -1- right side into holder -arrows-. Then lay to the right along the cable duct and clip it in.
